Friday - Lunch
Rides
Take a long Lunch
Call in sick.
What ever it takes.
We will meet at 11:30 and ride to Lunch once or twice a month. |
On Friday, April 18th we had our second Friday Lunch Ride.
We met at the Market Basket and rode to Joliet for lunch. Several
split off after lunch, two ran back to Billings to get back to work,
one rode down to Wyoming to take advantage to the lesser tax on
cigarettes and the rest of the lady riders rode over the hill to
Columbus before returning to Billings.

On Friday, April 4th - We had our first Friday Lunch Ride. Shelly
and Cindy met at the Blue Basket in the Heights are rode to Roundup for
lunch. The temps were a bit cool, but with the sun out it was
sure nice to be on the bikes again.
Shelly Greenfield will be organizing the Lunch Rides this year.
If interested in riding to lunch on Fridays, please let her know.

When asked, "What
does it cost to attend one of the womens' Rallies?", I generally
do not know how to answer that. So after several times of being
left dumbfounded, I remembered, Brenda keeps track of everything.
I asked her to put together her figures for a chart. Check out

Billings, Montana Chapter of
Women On Wheels®.
We are the Big Sky Lady Riders. We meet once a month. We try to
ride as often as we can. Check out where and when under the "About"
button.
In the State of Montana, we have approximately 50
members of Women on
Wheels® spread through out the state. We also claim two
members from
Wyoming and one from Saskwatchean. The "Members" Page
contains pictures of
some of our members.

The
next Women on Wheels®
National Ride In Event
is in Boyne, MI
July 8, 9, 10, 2008 |
Brenda and I are
concidering a tour in 2008. Riding up to the U. P of Michigan, down
over the Machinaw Bridge, into Boyne for day one of the Ride In, the
8th, then off on the 9th to Motor Maids Convention in Columbus,
Indiana. Attending the 10th and 11th. And then a touring ride
home.

Will be held at Bad
Boys Cycles on Saturday, May 3rd. Is there
anyone that would like to sit at a booth with Cindy and hand out
information on the Women's Groups, the Women's Rallies and any other
information we might like to pass on. Please contact Cindy

Our
next Meeting and Premeeting Ride
will be May 13th.
We meet at the South Billings Blvd McDonalds at 4:30, ride Blue Creek
to Pryor Creek, Hwy 87 into Lockwood. Meet at the Lockwood Blue
Basket at 5:15 to 5:30, ride Interstate 94 out to Huntley, Hwy 312 back
to Billings, in on Main Street to 6th Ave N to Perkings and get there
at just about meeting time, 6:30.
